A Brief Overview of Swine Flu
Swine flu (also known as H1N1) is a disease that began among pigs and is also a human disease. Although it started among pigs it cannot be spread from a pig to a human. In 2009, the highly contagious disease bagan in Mexico before becoming a global pandemic affecting over a million people in over 100 different countries and killing thousands of people. Swine flu has had a huge impact on the world and people in recent times and although a vaccine was created there still continues to be a certain number of cases each year.
Symptoms of Swine Flu
Swine flu has all the normal symptoms of the flu. It starts of with a fever and a cough which may then lead to diarrhea, nausea and/or vomiting.
